Replacing Filters
I myself drive a w209 and although I am not a DIYer, I do change my air filters and pollen filter myself. My friend has a 2006 C230 Sport Sedan. I believe it has a 2.5L V6.
In my w209, the pollen filter is above the battery. Where is it in the C230?
I went to Wiki, the air filters for the C230 are housed inside the engine cover. For my w209, to remove the engine cover, I just lift it upward from the engine. How about C230?

OK. The pollen filter is in the same location of my w209.
As for the air filter, I don't even bother to remove the front piece for my w209. I just lift up the whole engine cover.
Wonder if this would work for the w203 V6.

Yes - Just pull off the engine cover/airbox. Make sure you clip it down firmly over the MAF when you replace it.
