I have a 2003 c240 and it required several mechanical fixes and I took care of everything the mechanic said I needed to take of. When he gave me the car back, it was still hesitating to start. It would sometimes start the first time (but it would hesitate for about 3-4 seconds) and sometimes it wouldnt start (it alwasy started the second time). He said i needed a new fuel pump. We replaced it and it still does the same thing. I informed my mechanic that I was getting codes p0171 and p0174 which indicate something with MAF sensor but he said it wouldn't make the car hesitate. Any ideas?

check your Crank Position Sensor.. also you would get flame for not searching before posting.. just saying.
