Rough Start and Vibration
I've noticed my car starting a little rougher followed by a slight vibration until the car warms up. Once the car has been running for a few minutes then it starts and idles fine. The CEL isn't on. I changed the plugs a few months ago and torqued them to spec. Any ideas?
Also, does anyone know the part numbers for the driver's side plastic turn signal in the mirror, as well as for the outside pillar covers for the same side. I made the mistake of parking on the street and a drunk dude on a bike swerved against my car. I have to get the glass replaced too.

one of the other forums was talking about this too. i read the whole thing all million pages ( just kidding)
well it seems to come down to the wrong plugs.
the person in the thread changed to pulstar plugs and new wires. they also talked about leaking head gasket.

have you check for codes? is the car misfiring? if so you can see which cylinder it is and move the coil packs around and see if the misfire move with the coil pack. the spark plug wires are not expensive.

offdepp - I haven't checked for codes because no MIL is shown on the dash. I'll borrow a code reader and see if anything has been stored. I've read that vibration can be caused by a misfire but I guess until I get it scanned I won't know which cylinder.
crna - I was under the impression that the m272 engine only had coil packs and no 'spark plug wires'. Could you maybe post a link to the wires you mention?

Yes, 2006 C280 with 124.5k and M272 engine. Thanks for the link and info. I'll update when I get a chance to scan for stored codes and go thru the coil packs.

Make sure that the airbox is clipped down tightly over the MAF at the rear. Frequently the cause of the MAF hunting on the M272. Also happens but less often on the M112.
