Just took delivery
After waiting patiently for 11 weeks I just took delivery of my C230 sport coupe, magma red, oyster cloth, evolution (C7), 6 disk CD.
I took the day off work to drive it yesterday and am so in love that I am taking tomorrow off to drive it some more. I am showing remarkable restraint for a race driver and have not cracked the throtle yeat or exceeded 2700rpm. One of my other cars is a Miata with that glorious little shifter and this Evolution short shift is great. So much for the road tests, maybe those guys dont have much mechanical sympathy and try to bash it between gears. I love it, it's just a flick of the wrist.
The little clip in the glove box beside the CD player is useful for a pencil type tire pressure gauge. Too bad I can't fit the owners manual pouch in the glove box. I have it in the net by the passengers feet.
The rear window could use a wiper when going slowly but rain-x solves the problem.
I haven't bought a new car in 30 years so this was a special car to prompt me to buy. In my job I get to drive and test a lot of different vehicles and this one rates an 11 out of 10. I was thinking of driving it to Florida in the near future to pick up some racing parts I need, does anyone know if ther is an upsolute dealer there?

Congrats on the car. I would get a pully before i did the chip. pulley will give more hp. I'm sure there is a dealer somewhere in Fla.

It's great to have another Magma Red Coupe in the group. It gets better with time. Enjoy Renncpe is in Jacksonville, he would be a great help, as you know from this forum.
