Tomorrow will probably just be a Trial because I have a feeling that even once the suspension is down I'm going to need a spacer so if anything maybe next week

you were right it backed off the strut a tad when i had them all on and down. theres full clearance now. one thing though. there is noise when i drive. its not a rubbing noise and its not from the rear where the brake is. its up front and im not sure what it is. it gets faster the faster i go (duh) lol the car drives fine but theres the little bump. i brought it to my buddies shop and he re torqued them to 85 because i had them at 80 and that helped it alot it didnt make the nose but now a few hours later its back so im guessing its the bolts? can they come un torqued? and is it still recommended to do 80 lbs even on bigger non factory wheels?

Make sure the bolts aren't grinding away at your parking brake in the back.

There defiantly not the sound is up front and now I'm almost positive the bolts are loosening because I torqued them to 80 drove to work had to re torqe them because they got looser...idk why I ordered shorter but there the right size. My stock bolts came out of the back of the stock wheel 3/4 of an inch. Then the stock bolts came out of the new wheel an inch and 1/4. So that's a half inch difference. 1/2 inch into mm is roughly 13 mm. So 40 mm from the stock size minus 13 is 27. I ordered 27mm lug bolts and when I torque them they turn 6 or 7 times so I can't see how they are coming out

Looks good, did you use the spacers? I need to get the conical wheel bolts. Hopefully my tire guys can get them for me.

No I ended up not needing them its close all around but not needed. There also flush with the fenders so I'm afraid if I did it would stick out. As for the cone seat lug bolts I got mine from http://otisincla.com/ this is where most everyone on here gets them from. Measure what size you need and call then they will tell you what size and everything they have good service

so the bolts are definitely coming loose? torqued them before i left work last night to 80 all around. on the way home the bumping started. got home and was able to re torque them to 80... WTF i dont understand this. the things turn 6 or 7 times in there so there has to be enough thread. im using the same size lug bolt as factory except they are 27 mm instead of 39 and they are cone seat instead of ball (per wheel manufacture) anyone have any idea?

Does the seat of the bolts on the wheel match the shape of the bolts? (Acorn, v-shape, or ball style?)

yea i got 27 mm cone seat because thats what the wheel calls for..i have no idea why its doing this.. they turn 6 to 7 times thats more then enough to torque them in and stay there...

Cameron, have you removed the front wheels to see if there are any signs of rubbing/wear? I know this might be a stupid question since they're MB replica wheels but, are the hub bores 66.6? Jacke the front up and put soem jack stands under the car and free-spin the wheels and see if you can find the source. Are all four corners coming loose or just the front? I know you said the noise is from the front but I can't remember if the loosening problem is also happening on the rear.

i haven't taken them off yet. i was going to take it to work with me to (walmart automotive) where i had the tire put on the wheels and have them take them off while its on the lift and see whats going on. according to the wheel company there hubcentric for mercedes and the center bore is 66.56? as far as i can tell though nothing is rubbing theres clearance everywhere and the noise sounds like something hitting because its gets faster the faster i go. but it could also resemble a wheel coming loose. it just kind of goes against all wheel logic lol if there torqued down and they turn 6 or 7 times it makes no sense why they are coming loose..

I don't really trust that factory jack. It's very smooth to operate, I'll give it that much but I still use a good 3 ton jack to lift this car up as they're pretty heavy. These MBs having a 31mm offset is so stupid, I'm having a hard time finding a good quality 16x7 or 16x7.5 rim that can accommodate my winter tires for next winter. 35mm offset is popular but it will be too far in.

Exactly the factory one is cool not efficient enough though and I know what you mean with the offset mine slightly rub on some occasions
