Well where do you live? what type of driver are you? what are you looking to get out of the tire?
Many people like the DWS all season I have them on the rear of my car and my dad has them on his G8 GT and they do seem decent for the price. Of course they are not the best but for the price they are dam good.
If you want something more fun and never see cold weather the Hankook Ventus v12 EVO's are nice they lasted 20-30k miles on the rear of my car with no rotating.
I have also had had really good experience with the bridgestone potenza re960as pole position which just got replaced with the 970's they were actually decent in the snow/ice and great in the summer as well.

I should have been more clear. Thanks for your response. We live in CT. Have to be ready for snow between Nov.-March. As far as what kind of driver? Normal, not interested in racing anyone!

I have some pirelli four seasons on my staggered mandrus milleniums and LOVE the ride. It's just as smooth as riding stock. And I'm up in syracuse so I know about the brutal winters and these still hold up well.

Well then the DWS would be a good all around tire as well as the bridgestones I recommended. Personally I like the bridgestones better but depending on the price I would not pay $100 more for them.
I guess I should have noticed it is a c240 4 matic no racing in those

Paid <USD$450 for a set of Kumho Ecsta all-season tires and couldn't be happier.
This will be their first Winter season though, lets see how that goes.

Depending on how cold it gets where you live and how much snow gets dumped on you. All seasons become as useless as summer tires after -10 degrees Celcius. I'm not sure what the conversion into F is for that, but ya up here in Edmonton Alberta Canada where we've seen temperatures go all the way down to -56 degrees Celcius a few years ago, dedicated winters are a must. In Quebec I believe they've made it a law mandating the use of winter tires during the cold season. The softer rubber on cold tires will give you the grip that you need that all seasons just can't provide after a certain temp. I would recommend Blizzak WS70, Conti ExtremeWinterContact, X-Ice 3, or Pilot Alpin 3 if your weather conditions are seriously frigid.
