I'm trying to invite Steve to Chicago, anyone in Metro Chicago interested.........
I am trying to get Steve to visit us in Chicago to perform a couple of his famous Comand installs, and was wondering if there are anyone out there living in Chicago who would be willing to split some of the costs of his visit. The visit, if possible, will be in November - on his way back from the west coast.
I am not sure how much it's gonna be yet, but please email me if you're interested.

If you play your cards right Steve might be able to stop off in Chicago with very minimal cost while going east to west.
Hint:
When Americans go to Europe they can get a Eurail pass which allows travel for a fixed number of days anywhere within Europe at a fixed predetermined cost. Europeans cannot buy those. Now here is the kicker. Europeans can do the same when they come over here. Except its with the airlines. This is secondhand knowledge from friends of mine that have come over to visit and done this.

Count me in, I'm on the North Shore and would love a COMAND install if we can get some US Spec but I'll settle for BiXenon otherwise.
I may even be able to get Steve some Cubs tickets (Who wouldn't come to Chicago just to see Wrigley!). Don't hold me to it though.

Steve to Chicago
Hey guys,
This thread was started to get people to split costs to get Steve to Chicago on his way back home to do installs last fall when he was in SoCal for several weeks.
As it turned out, Steve`s ticket at the time did not let him stop in Chicago.
I am still debating whether I still want the COMAND. I`ve done fine over the last 6 months without it, but since Golf season is starting, I am sure that a COMAND will be great to get to golf courses that I have never been to before...
We'll have ask Steve whether he will be coming to the US, and see if he is interested in stopping in Chicago / midwest.

...as I will be in california for a couple of weeks soon again (in approx 1,5 weeks from now) and curretnly it looks like I will have some days left to do something else besides work...I can fly from cali to Chicago and back to do some comand installs IF people want to pay for the airfare and a hotelnight...
