2001 Mercedes C320 Coolant Visit Workshop
I have a 2001 C320 with 98,000 miles and I am getting the warning "Coolant Visit Workshop". I changed out the thermostat but that didn't help. If I drive at a high speed the warning goes off and if I let the car sit and run at idle it will overheat. The electric cooling fan does come on and off but only runs very slow, never at a fast speed and I can easily stop it from spinning with my hand. Do you think that it is the sensor or the fan motor itself?

im having the same problem myself but as long as I turn the heater on full blast with the windows down of course, it does relieve some of the pressure in the cooling system....however im still trying to discover if its the fan control unit or the relay....hopefully someone else will see our posts and help us out...keep me informed if you come up with something that helps bro.
