Excellent news.
No point in having wider tyres than you need. Just more unsprung weight .

You can adjust toe yourself .. It's not that hard, and with a simple tape measure you can get to within a degree or better of accuracy.

Yeah, cr@p... For me it also was like that. At some point I think I only checked the fronts, so you can imagine my surprise when I saw my bald rears after 15k Originally Posted by jkowtko

Everyone I tell about this laughs at me and says that modern tires are able to endure 40k+, yea right

Well, not modern tires that ride like rails ... Originally Posted by VVF

I really like the ride of the DWs with the Bilstein TC on the sport suspension; the car basically goes where I point it, wavy/bumpy roads or not. I'll put up with shorter life rather than compromise the ride. (Of course, I'll take a tire that has both long life and great ride!)So all that we really need to know is to keep rotating those front tires to get them to wear as evenly as possible.

Pretty much what I feel, too. I am really pleased with how the fronts are wearing though.
Cannot really compare the handling with something else, but frequently the car in front is holding me up, where I feel I could effortlessly go 5-10 mph faster in turns etc. Might just be careful drivers though
I rotate the rears side-to-side as well, but that probably does not add too much tread life to them hehe, maybe 0.5-1k miles
