New C Class W205

I am not sure about the front bumper openings.
Also at first I didn't like the rear lights at all, but gradually realize that they are not bad actually.
The headlights are interesting, for me it feels like a blend of W204 and W212

The interior looks kool except for that screen - will need to see it in person though.

I guess they're thinking that the CLA will get the younger buyers, and the C class will now go to an older demographic? On the press release on mbusa, they call it a mid-range, which should mean a good amount of growth, but I don't think there will be enough to make it a midsize in reality. This whole move it upmarket and backfill with a car that is more like what the previous generation car was that is being done by all three German luxury brands is a bit too cutesy for me; someone in marketing should be b*tchslapped.
Also, is it me, or do the armrests seem to just into the cabin space a little much?
I won't even mention the lack of a manual tranny, as that seems to be very much a losing battle. At least the new WRX is looking good.

The W204 tin box image offended MB traditionalists of all ages. Benz has decided on a firm path to move W205 up market & back to traditional positioning. I like W205 in Elegance form with the traditional grill & hood star. I think it looks better than the Avantgarde. Lovely fresh European organic lines.
Boy racers will be looked after by A Class & CLA. CLK will return. It's a pity the US does not see the full range but without the more frugal engines.
Long term B Class is likely to cast off it's people carrier image.
