Oh, and the W205 gets built here (in the Alabama factory), and now some things are making sense as they announced a few weeks back that they would add yet another model to the line (I'll be it will be the new CLK).

Engine made by Nissan??!! Front wheel drive??!!
The Japanese automaker has released more details on the upcoming four-cylinder engine, which will begin production in 2014 at its assembly plant in Decherd, Tennessee. The Mercedes-Benz four-cylinder will initially be used in C-Class cars assembled at Daimler’s plant in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. No details on the engine were provided, though the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C250 – which recently made its debut in the States – is powered by a 1.8-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder with 201 hp and 229 lb-ft of torque.
That LCD screen is hideous. Like a moving iPad.
What is next? A WRX Subaru wing??
What has happenned to my beloved favorite automobile company??!!!

What's up with the 2 big holes on the front spoiler, below the headlights? Are they functional? I see this in all new MB sedans (S class, E class and now C class).

Nissan builds engines very well. There is no reason why they should not build a Benz designed engine just as well as the Bad Cannstadt plant.

One car as I understand it for now.
One thing that is not clear is that CLK has always been a pillarless design. C Coupe not. I hope CLK remains pillarless.
