Looking for a firewall pass through
I have a laser / radar detector which has it's power head and a sensor located under the hood behind the front grill and the display is designed to be mounted out of sight in or under the dash. I am trying to determine if there is an accessible firewall pass through within reach of the stereo (best case) or under the steering wheel. Any advice appreciated. Thanks. Dave

You can use the pass through going from fuse box under hood to behind steering wheel. To get into fuse box you can also use grommets so that it stays water tight. This is how I ran my XM antenna 4+ years ago.

My pass through was behind the battery on the pass side and has four or 5 hole with plastic plugs . they just pull out ....kinda hard but they come put ......it comes through behind the glove box ..thats how I ran the power wire for my system

The plugs are about an inch long ... that pass-through is thick. So grab the plug with a pair of pliers and start pulling and wiggling ... it will eventually come out.
