C230 2005 won't start died out of no where

Driving the vehicle to a near by grocery store to make dinner for my wife ended up with me towing the vehicle home.

Let's get to the point
Driving
Changed battery 4 months ago
Been using old key dont have issues with unlocking or locking
Aftermarket napa battery read 12.6v not started
Insert key and turn to on position everythjng turns on
After trying to start it car doesn't make any effort to turn over make a noise or anything at all it's just a turn
Checked all fuse seems good
Battery voltage good
Key unlocks and locks
All lights are bright in car
Srs light have been on for a 8 months
Has 120k miles
Original starter
Original alternator
Same key I been using
Any idea what can be wrong

The vattery is cleaned and tight ordered a scanner and hopefully someone can help me understand what's wrong

Weather has been cold also and I've tryed jumping the vehicle

Check fuse 52 in the front SAM & replace with 20 amp. From what I understand from your explanation the car does not crank ~ correct?

EIS
Front SAM

My guess would be the EIS (do a search, lots of info on it).

Why would you leave the SRS light on for 8 months? I'd think that just the annoyance factor would have gotten you to look into it. My guess on that would be the passenger seat airbag sensor or that the wiring in the front of that seat has become disconnected.

Fuse 52 is underated (15A) & typically blows. There is a service bulletin out to increase to 20 amp. This gives you a no crank. Start enable requires fuses 31, 52 & 57.. Blown fuse 52 is a common problem.

Next would be starter relay
Then starter motor
Then finally ESL/EIS.

Damn, 99% of the time is fuse 52. Have you checked the starter relay?

Relay S in the front SAM.

It might be worth having the EIS checked on a Star before you go pulling starter motors. As Tommy says it can be EIS. Expensive fix if it is.
