RH mirror reverse tilt down
I just did a vin decoder check to find out what options my car came with and I noticed this:
Dual auto heated pwr mirrors w/integrated turn signals, RH mirror reverse tilt down
What caught my eye was RH mirror reverse tilt down. When I put my car in reverse (6 speed manual trans) the RH mirror does not tilt down. Does anyone know what could be causing that not to work? I park in the city often on curbs and would benefit tremendously if I could fix this. Thanks for your time.

That, and the feature also has to be enabled under convenience settings on the obc...it's a driver/key dependent thing, so one key can be programmed to do it while the second does not. The same applies to easy entry/exit and other memory functions.

Your 05 definitely has it....use the steering wheel buttons...it's outlined in the glove box manual. When you use the menu buttons all the way to the left of the steering wheel it cycles between the different menus, ie mileage, phone, audio, settings, mpg etc. The arrow buttons are used to enter a particular menu and the volume buttons are used to select a particular feature. The phone buttons are not used during this. Just play with it...you'll figure it out.

Watched that YT video, either the guy is not scrolling all the way down or the convenience feature is missing. I took some pics, I've arranged them sequentially.
Basically you use the menu button to get to settings, then press either arrow button to bring up the various settings, eg instr cluster, lighting etc. Use the volume keys and scroll all the way down to "convenience"
Once that is highlighted, press either arrow button repeatedly and you should be able to cycle between mirror aid, key dependency and easy entry/exit.
The volume buttons are once again used to select on or off for that particular feature.
Once the mirror aid is set to "on", the mirror adjust button on the headlamp switch must be selected to the R mirror for tilt to work in reverse. If you don't want the mirror to tilt during reverse, simply select the driver mirror button
Hope this helps.

The tilt of the RH mirror only exists with the memory seat option. Most cars do not have it.
It can be added at considerable expense to non-memory seat cars. You need to change the passenger door module to the one for folding mirrors, and change the mirror assembly to the memory seat part. The mirror has an extra wire from the mirror tilt motor that sends position information to the door module.
You must then use a Star diagnostic computer to version code the mirror tilt feature with the developer mode.
In the alternative you can push the button with you finger and tilt the mirror.

Thanks all. I just assumed that my car came with the option since the vin decoder had it listed with a green check mark. It's not worth all the extra work to me. I'll just use the power mirror switch if I ever really needed it.
