The bigger the knockers the slower the car goes. This disables that feature so the car will not slow down everytime nice knockers are seen by the sensors in the mirror and windshield.....

Is this why my car slows down every time I drive by a Hooters? And all this time, I thought it was just me slowing down to get a lookie.

Actually its pretty noticable on a manual with the stock tires. Drive the car hard and every shift feels a little sluggish cause ESP kicks in, with it off the car feels so mucb better to drive - although much easier to get the back end loose, drive without ESP for a while after driving with it for so long, I found the backend sliding all over the corners, I guess telling me I drive too hard and ESP was helping me all along!

2003 C230 Kompressor Sedan
Wow, it is really amazing what happens

When I performed this procedure, my MFD turned into a video display with Carmen Electra doing a strip tease!

Uhh ill give it a try. Maybe ill do an experiment. My friend has a C230 sedan. Ill get myself, him, and another guy to drive my C320 and my friend's C230. We will randomly have the ESP "special mode activated" and do tests. If you guys are actually feeling something and that my experiment does show some sign, then this mode might be true afterall.

Yesterday I tried this on our 03 auto 230k sedan. As expected, there wasn't a bit of difference. Response, power, etc, everything was the same. On the good side, there were no warning messages or anything.

Yep. Same results in my '99 E55, '00 CLK430 and the '04 C320 loaner I just had. ESP still active and no noticable difference.

Too bad
