Changed to winter tires. Now i got problems with the shocks. Normal??
After i bought the winter tire package from MB, out went the 17's in went the 16's but now my whole front end is squealing. I dont know if it is the shocks or the springs.
When i rock the car up & down with my hand the whole car squeals. Is this normal with winter tire package?
Thanks..

I'm not sure about the squealing but I can only imagine that it's not a good thing. It's probably in your best interest to ask the dealer.
**also what size winter tires did you put on?

I know that the 2002 C230 coupes had a problem with the front sway bar end bushings. If I recall correctly, the problem was most evident once the vehicle was warmed up and it was warm outside as in summer. I think that there was a TSB issued but I'm not sure. You may want to ask the dealer to check it out.
I know that mine makes the squeaking/creaking (sp?) noise when the suspension compresses during warm weather once the vehicle is warmed up but I've not taken it in yet to have the dealer check it out. Mine started squeaking this past summer after about 25k miles on the vehicle. A service is due in about 1800 miles.

Had the same squeaking problem with my car. Would make some springy noise noticeable when going into and out of my driveway (the little curb bump). Dealer replaced the worn bushings without hesitation when I described the problem.
