New SL looks alike C230 front end

i think the new headlights are going in that direction. both the CLK and the SL have the C-coupe type of lights. not the same, but similar. the e is maintaining the split lights configuration.
i saw a black SL yesterday (the second SL i've seen on the road) and i almost turned around to chase it...
and the top was down!

Both the headlights and angle of the front grill are a lot like the C-coupe! I knew I had good taste
! Now people will think a SL is comming up behind them when we do! And we save 50K, all thats missing is the rest of the great features of the SL!LOL!

It's a hard choice. While clearly the SL is a superior car it only seats 2, the C convertible can seat 4. There is a company down here that will do the conversion, Newport Convertible Engineering, 1025B S. Melrose, Placentia, CA 92870. (714) 632-3287. So while the convertible in the pic is a one off, the dream can be a reality for probably less than the taxes on the SL500. They have done some cool convertibles including some difficult 4 doors like the BMW 750 and Lexus LS400. Ask for Zadeh, he's the owner.

going to the private party for the release of the SL at the dealership.... invitation says wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served... anyone else's dealership doing this with the loyal owners?

coupe vs. sl
i see a resembelence in the front and even the rear lights have the same clolors to them. take a look at them side to side from the back and you will see what i mean. i love my c coupe but i dont think it can be matched to the SL that good.
