i know the feeling....
you could say that my rear Euro-bezel project has been a 3-year (on and off rollercoaster). It's a super difficult part to find, and installing it requires major body-shop work, even though it is 100% OEM. The only MB Tech I trusted to do that job moved out of state, so even though a Mercedes-Benz Collision Center should be able to do the job, there's just something I don't trust about them.
Installing that panel on the rear Coupe hatch requires uninstalling the riveted piece, and swapping it with this Euro version. ![wall](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/banghead.gif)
who knows when I'll get that done. and then there's that little detail about a C32 engine... but I won't go into that....
