Yep - a Nikon D3 will make you give up a lot of things =). No more car modding for me...the cameras alone just hit above the halfway mark of the "club".

Well, yes, it IS disappointing to think about [auto-mods]. It just came clear to me upon selling my entire Canon setup when I got back ~85-90% of what I paid for after a year of use...an absolutely fantastic resale value (that actually does something to pay itself back...and has excellent "gas mileage"). Relatively low-risk investment (financially and sentimentally).

Oh, but I did have a cliche moment last week WHILE I was selling my Canon 580EXII Flash, lol... I flipped a U pretty fast to park in a 1hr spot to meet my local buyer and 5 asian male teens (typical around Arcasia) hopping into a Prius were like "DAMN, that's a SICK car, MAD SEXY BRO!", and gawked while I walked away with a D3 on my shoulder =).

Promise me you'll get a blow-off valve, yeah? .

i don't think i ever missed steve's OC install trips ever since i bought the car...
sad to see its last trip to OC next month.... :cry:
