Quote: Did you get your Audio10 installed by Steve too? If so, do you mind giving me a ballpark figure of what I should expect to pay (purchase plus installation).

The US stock stereo is okay at times, but doesn't seem of Bose quality. Even the stock system in my mom's S80 sounded better. According to forum members, it seems the Audio10 is much better so I may give that a try instead of installing an Infinity Basslink (since I don't want to drill holes in my trunk).
Switching out the radio in your car is SO incredibly easy, you should consider doing it yourself. The Audio10 does sound better than the stock cassette player.

I don't understand what excatly you got. If you have an AMG, you would have already had that digital climate stuff and radio that shows names. Unless you do not have an AMG, then I would underSTAND!

i don't have install detail pics... too much wiring and i didn't understand a thing... install took approximately 5 hours... it didn't look like it could be posted in DIY section... maybe someone in this forum can post better install pics today?

MJ, - Nice job on what had to be a major installation ordeal. As far as the "AMG" is concerned, I just love that "C24" to the left. It works for me, as obviously it does for you ! Enjoy your ride, it is well deserved!
