half windshield defrost
Now that winter has set in I have noticed that only the passenger side of my defrost is blower air. I have read the articles about the stepper motor but I don't have any clicking noises. The odd thing is when I first start the car air blows out both vents and then after about 30 seconds it goes to passenger side only. I tried the normalization procedure and while that is cycling I get air out of both vents but I read normalization should only take 30 seconds but mine never finishes. It has cycled for 15 minutes and I finally just shut off the car. Any ideas are appreciated! I am not afraid to pull the whole thing apart I just want a idea what I am looking for. Thanks!!

One of mine motors didnt click either but had broken linkage. Same is going on for you there I think. Get codes readed with Star which pinpoints the exact location of broken motor(s) or link(s). And get ready for $1k+ bill if you decide to use dealer.
The stepper motor thread is full of guys with broken links aswell, also there is DIYs available. Good luck
