LED footwell lighting coming soon
I found a light that will suit the front foot wells of our cars. I am going to wire it to turn on with the doors open and off when closed. I will post a part number if anyone wants. It's OEM mercedes from a S class. Glows orange. Or you can substitute it for the puddle light under the door which is brighter. I have part numbers for connectors and led lights and bulb lights.

Wow this would be great! Is it OEM footwell lighting from the S-class? Anyway to wire it so it could be on when the lgihts are like the rest of the interior light? An ambiance light would be cool. Post instructions!!!!!!!

203-820-08-01 is the bulb light which is found under the door in my car which can also be used as the foot well light. It uses a 5 watt bulb. The connector for this is 029-545-05-28. I don't have the part number for the pins that go into the connector but you can ask your stealer for them. The LED light is 208-820-65-01 and the connector for this is 030-545-28-28. Again, I don't have the part no for the pins for this connector. Makesure you wire pos and Neg correctly on the LED light or it won't work. The bulb light is brighter than the LED. Led has the standard orangish mercedes glow. I think I'm going to go with the bulb light. I believe the LED fits inside the center console of a S class or SL class and turns on with the headlights at night.
