Intriguing, but I've never heard of the brand, so I'm not sure why I should choose these over a comparable set of Bilsteins that are roughly the same price. Anyone have any experience with these?

Well, not hearing of the brand doesn't really mean that they're not good, though. They're assembled in NoVa from imported stock built to their specs. Buyers can specify what spring rates, upgrade to Swift springs, colors, helper springs, and so forth. Plus, they can be rebuilt by Fortune at their US facility.

Bilstein coilovers are roughly twice their prices and no customization.

I think the Fortunes are a great option; am considering them on my crx this season, and their customer service on developing a customized setup has been great. They're not well known in German circles, but well respected for several Asian marques, S2Ks especially.
