Well, I have finally grown up........
It all comes with the territory. In ten years you will be in a CLK 55, lol, unless a wife, kids, and house come into the mix, lol...
Have fun with the new ride. Get it dropped, and add some sway bars for starters. It is a boat stock.
. Anyhow, yes I am now 24 and driving a Yellow WRX isn't cool anymore no matter how fast it was. I learned alot about modding from my two WRXs. I have been a German Car diehard for years and actually have been following the Euro Tuning scene much more than the Sport Compact scene. I do subscribe to Euro Tuner which the worst mag I have ever read, but I also get European Car and raid the B&N rack also occassionally. I will need help on final decisions but I am leaning towards a matching set of Springs and Dampers first (Brabus?) and a Lorinser Roof Spoiler. I am still not sure about performance mods. I do put 35,000 miles a year on my cars. Any recommendations for an ECU / Pulley / Exhaust combo?

After two WRXs, I have made the jump to the Euro scene. My WRXs were tastefully modded, a blast to drive, and were unique cars. However, I finally jumped into my true passion: a German Sports Sedan. My '04.5 C230K w/ 6MT should be here by Wednesday (White w/ Charocoal). It is a bit slow compared to what I am used to, but it is a well sorted, beautiful car.
but good luck with the car. For sure you will notice the price difference between modding euro cars and Japanese car
Congrats. I use to own an IS300 turbocharged with all the goodies. Fun to drive and especially when JDM stuff are cheap and affordable. Once you start getting into modding the mercedes, WOW...Thats puts a deep hole in your wallet...

were you nasioc or clubwrx by any chance? what years were your WRX, i love those cars
Welcome aboard. I think you mentioned that you hve one of the newer C230K sedans? If that is so, then your susp is already lowered similar to a Eibach spring kit. If you want to go lower, then the H&R Cup Kit or even a coilover will suit your needs. I am happy with the stock setup. Not too harsh and is slightly lowered. Ignore my sig, Brabus-C photoshopped it to make it look low.

but MB's luxury should make up for it!
