2002 Mercedes Benz C240 2.6L w203/brabus kit
Finally a MBWORLD forum member...in need of help

Hey MBworld just wanted to say hello and let's get to business. I have a 2002 c240 with the 2.6L SMALL V6. I just played it off not too long ago and have made the choice to keep it and I am saving as we speak to drop the e320 llw/supercharger and remap ecu... But that probably won't be for the next 6 moths to a year At that point I am going to make the desicion as far as long term suspension and the power plant desicion and go from ther. But now I need to make my ride look clean for the time being... I have 235/35/19r et56 Roland set of oem rims and low pro tires Goingto for sure need spacers in front but I see that my suspension needs to be replace. Any suggestions on how to get rid of the hideous front wheel gap with just strut and shock replacement and what lowering springs would be good for my applicatio. Also what about the camber ki. Please let me know soon as possible i am in the market to buy lowered suspension for my car over the next few days and some help or suggestions...hell even used suspension kits...anyways hit me back and glad to be here

Welcome to MBWorld. Why not just get coilovers as it sounds like you're replacing most of the components anyways. That'll allow you to fine tune the ride height as it'll be adjustable and if the coils have dampening controls, allow you also dial in ride characteristics.

You could f*ck around with lowering springs, which there aren't many of, and either be unhappy with the amount of drop (as it sounds you'd like a substantial one) or cut coils, which sucks for obvious reasons. Or do it right the first time and get a decent set of coils (BC, Fortune, KW). It's up to you, but you'll be beating your head against a brick wall if you do anything other than coils.

Also, try a search. Plenty of threads about coils, dropping, and so forth.

Coilovers Ive been looking into the tein s tech coikovers...in the front and then tein Springs in the rear with sport shocks and #2 spring shims. C55 sway bar kit with adjustable link kit. Also was wondering if its possible to mount the c230 or c32 c55 front and rear sub frame on the 240. Thanks guys

Wait, you're going to do coils in the front only and springs in the rear? Why not just coils all around? Maybe something unique with Tein (which I admit I've never run before), but never seen coils sold only by sections like that. If budget conscience, take a look at H&R, Eibach, or Koni.
