Class Action lawsuit 10 yrs or 125K

C230 is exhibiting rough idle, limp mode. already checked all coil packs, replaced sparkplugs, replaced maf sensor, swapped coils packs, replaced battery and it is still giving me errors 4,5,6 misfires. I am wondering if the class action settlement for broken sprocket for timing is causing any of this? I assume the error codes for these would be different than for misfire? Or is it possible that this precursor to taking it on to MB dealer?

Fuel pressure 55 psi steady
new plugs all NGK
clean air filters
checked all hoses for damage

Still have car parked and wont go over 10 mph unless you mash pedal even then it will not go.

Thanks for the reply. At the moment they are limited to the misfires on 4, 5, 6. Cats good, sparkplugs new, MAF new, checked all vacuum lines. But this particular vehicle I am seeing has the same identical to others and noone seems to post what the repairs are. Its very frustrating paying on a car that doesnt run, only has 77K. Idles horribly and its in limp mode. My comments were that perhaps this was a possibility.

Codes are
P0300
P0306
P0305
P0304

not a merc
You will have valve timing errors if that was the case. Let someone who knows what they doing check it out. Sounds like you just throwing parts at it by guessing. Do a proper diagnosis.
Good luck

Are the codes pulled from Star Diagnostics? If not, then you are just throwing money and parts and hoping to get it work. It is much cheaper to use the real mercedes diagnostics @ dealer/very good indy and proceed from there. Also you would get information about the lawsuit from the dealer or just source of errors and DIY after that.

Good luck

It is only the balancer shaft sprocket problem if you get PO16 & PO17 together.
