W210 vs W203 yr 2002
Hi members, I have two options of Mercs and I would like an opinion on W210 E200K and the W203 C240 yr 2002. What are the pros and cons of each in terms of general maintenance, electrical issues if any you may have experienced etc

Don't have any w210 experience, but my w202 was a lot more reliable than my w203 (by orders of magnitude). I'd probably lean towards the w210 based on that alone. The 203 is a nice family of vehicles in terms of build spec and creature comfort, but in my experience, they are frustratingly unreliable by any standard……and I am not talking nuisance issues, but literally the car dies in traffic or will not start. Easily the most unreliable car I have ever owned, without even a close second of note, to include other MB, BMW, Volvo, domestic, yada yada. That said, I'm not even close to thinking about getting rid of it. Great car in many other ways, if you can handle the suck on your wallet it will probably cause.
