Anything fun to do with command GPS

Installed w203 GPS in my 2005 c230 sport sedan. Love the look, and the radio and screen is a big aesthetic improvement.

But is there anything fun to do with with oem command? No Bluetooth (aside from aux cord mod), no way to incorporate back up camera or mirror iPhone?

Are there are other cool features?

AFAIK there should be a way to plug in the backup camera.

iPhone? Rock on, man!
"On January 9, 2007 Steve Jobs announced iPhone at the Macworld convention, receiving substantial media attention, and that it would be released later that year. On June 29, 2007 the first iPhone was released."

Have searched for a dozen hours and cannot figure out how to wire back up camera directly to have screen. I suppose I could tap into the wire for the display, but without knowing someone else has done it is risky..

These headunits were manufactured way before the iphones came to life basically.

This thread might be useful, some folks managed to get their cameras wired: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...s-command.html

On my car (AMG) there is a connector in the glove box. If you pull the kick panel you will see the wire. They sell two jacks that fit this connector. One is the standard 3.5mm and the other is the old iphone setup. I am not sure bu I would guess an adapter would work from old to new style.

Hey Buddy,
Would you please do us a favor and take a quick snapshot? I do have the 3.5mm plug for aux-in, but I had no idea there was another plug for the old iPhone?

We'd all really appreciate it!
