2006 C230 S Sport Car Wont Start SRS Restraint System Malfunction Message
Hello..I have a 2006 C230 S Sport..Earlier today, I went out to my car to leave, used my alarm on my key to unlock the doors like I always do, turn the ignition and NOTHING..It wouldn't start..It wouldn't turn over..The only sound I heard was a click sound..I do see a message in the dash that reads SRS Restraint System Malfunction..I get out, shut the car door and I use my alarm to lock the doors..NOTHING..Now the key alarm won't lock the doors to the car..Also, the key alarm won't unlock the trunk to the car..Never had any of this to happen..Can anyone tell me what the problem is with this? What is SRS Restraint System Malfunction? And why would that keep the car from starting? Thanx..

but responding to the OP I would first have asked what he means by "Alarm" You normally do not press the red triangle alarm button as that is an emergency response. You press the lock and unlock buttons. So I would have first asked to clarify what he is pressing.
yeah some people have a chip on their shoulder sometimes. I see that in many forums.
Always dealing with people, it is difficult sometimes.
