Romoval of lettering
Does anyone know how to remove the lettering on the trunk lid?

In the market
a body shop will do it for next to nothing....or what i did was use fishing line (sounds strange, but was reccomended to me and worked suprisingly well) to cut through the adhesive and drop the letters, and then an eraser pad from a auto paint shop to remove the rest of the adhesive....probably about a 20 minute job total

Would a heat gun work? I heard they use heat guns.

yeah, heat gun will help...
u can also use dental floss to remove them...
many ppl recommended to use goo-gone for final finish...

MJ....how would you use the dental floss...just run the floss behind the lettering and it will auto magically come off?

if u use heat gun first, it'll make easier to use dental floss since the adhesive is now softer....
dental floss works great...
