Fantastic pictures. Thank you very much. It really makes the difference clear. I'm calling my dealer tomorrow to order the right ones.

I called Clair Parts and ordered a set of mud flaps (6-6-52-8211). While I was at it I added the Lock Plug for the driver's-side lock (210-766-00-56) and a set of MB silver valve caps. Can't complain, the entire order came to $104.06 before shipping (which he estimated around $8.00). Everything was in stock and ships today. Local dealer wanted $135 for the mud flaps alone (and they were not in stock).

I should have made it clear that both the fronts and rears have a clip BUT they are also held on with self tapping screws. In other words, the clip secures the skinny part that goes up along the wheel opening and the screws fasten the bottom part to the wheel well. The clip sort-of holds the flap in place while you screw them on (or for taking pictures...)
The rear tires have to be removed to install the screws on the back flaps. I didn't remove the front wheels but it would have been a little easier if I did. Anyway, the installation is very easy. If you can work a screw driver (and also get the back wheels off) then you can do it.

He didn't mention any, so I don't know. I'll see what breakdown I get when it is delivered (and I can see an invoice). He did say the current web site will soon be replaced with a brand new one. He also said he has the entire MB parts at his disposal, all at 'wholesale' prices.

I got the New Mud Flaps from Clairparts.com, the order arrived in a speedy 2 days (and thats after they told me the part was backordered). Thanks Avlis for the correct part number = 6-6-52-8211. I only wanted the fronts originally, but I installed all 4 since I had them, and I will live with them for a while, since they do give you protection against stone damage. I have to admit they are hardly noticeable and I may have to keep them on permanantly.

I got my mud flaps. They the definitely the right ones. The instruction sheet has a drawing of a Sports Coupe and it says it is only for the C203 Sports Coupe.
They fit awsome. However, since proper installation requires removal of the tires, I'll wait until this weekend to put them on. Then I will take some pictures. They constrast strongly in my car, so they should give others a good idea of what they look like.
Regarding price. I have the invoice here:
Mud Flaps (6-6-52-8211)
List 107.00, Net 90.95
BTW... the MB logo valve covers were only $12.75 and the driver's door lock plug was 96 cents! Good deal!

Here are the mud flaps installed. It took about 15 minutes per flap(including removing and re-installing each tire). The fit is just right. I took the pictures with a flash (versus natural light), but the results are still pretty clear.

They are soft plastic... would definitely bend back if you hit something... so that makes them pretty much unpaintable. Though there are some rubberized paint compounts you could try to match. I am cool with them black, they blend into the black tire that way from a short distance.
