I am curious about porting and polishing the head, although I do not know much about the quality of the casting. Anyone have any experience with doing this to a Benz?
Oh, and I want a pulley!

There should be no problem porting and polishing the head.
Just make sure you get it done by someone with GOOD experience and a flow bench.
Bigger isn't always better when porting and polishing, and hacker might create and end result that's worse than what he started with. Plus, taking off the head costs big $$$.

Nice
I was thinking about getting the same carlsson bodykit, i think it looks sleek, but whats up with the grill? is that a horse? lol I'm confused! Looks cool though. Quick question: would it be weird/ tacky if brands were mixed, i.e. carlsson kit, lorinser wheels, kleemann spoiler? I doubt it will be tacky but just a thought. Oh i also have a question about the european license plates, are the brand name ones availiable? like the ones that say lorinser, brabus, etc, because after i add some stuff to my car i want one of those, but then if i get mixed brands which plate should i get? I know they have personalized european plates on ebay maybe i'll settle for one of those. heres the link if anyone wants it:

Maybe i should stick to one brand, oh well i have a lot of time to think about it, it's either pay for mods for the car or college, tough choice (but college won lol).
By the way, you have good taste Scylas (of course you got a benz lol)

stuff
Beware of porting - you may actually reduce low-end torque to unacceptable levels. Only allow a shop with proven dyno results (which isolate the effect of the porting) near your car.
As far as modifications are concerned, the more C 230 K owners that do this, the more I'll be inclined to leave our car bone stock - for the uniqueness factor, you understand

Out Of Control!!
I like that bodykit alot. Have you looked into prices yet? I'd assume that it's going to be cheaper than a stock ccoupe amg pkg, or Brabus.
As far as mixing and matching, no biggie. So far, I've got Renntech and Brabus stuff (all show and no go) - I just need to buy some Carlsson and Lorinser, and I'll have the full range.
Vy Vy - that's the carlsson horse on the grill, I'm not a big fan of that. I'd either stick with stock, or get a grill that has no emblem on it.
