I would suggest dropping the blind spot mirror and buying a european split zone mirror. I'm sure someone here in the forum can post the part number.

The euro split zone mirror is an exact replacement for the current one. The difference is that the outside 1/3 is aspherical and curves outward to allow much greater visibility. My coupe is on order and it will be the first mod that I make.

Speaking of mirrors....
It's probably in the manual, but do the outside mirrors also automatically adjust to the lights behind you, just like the interior rearview, i.e. green night vision? To me, it looks like the exterior driver's mirror has a green hue (not as much as the inside mirror) but the passenger side does not have any green at all.

C class W203 european mirror (with aspheric blind spot mirror) part numbers
For LHD cars
Left hand, heated, aspheric, dimming A203 810 03 21
Right hand, heated, aspheric A203 810 02 21
For RHD cars
Left hand, heated, aspheric A203 810 01 21
Right hand, heated, aspheric, dimming, A203 810 04 21
These are direct replacements for the flat mirror glasses in US/Korea/Gulf-states. I beleive *all* mirror types are heated on the W203
---------------------
Im told you can order them direct from your US dealers, dunno what it will cost you ...
The dimming mirror is about 4 times the cost of the non dimming mirrors. If you have a dimming mirror, I think you must replace it with a dimming mirror - the connectors the mirror glass on all the other MB's ive looked are different depending if they have dimming or not.

Do you know if these part numbers are the for dimming variety?

Rather than add a mirror to the existing surfaces, Brookstone Store sells a German made blind spot mirror for attachment to the windshield or the dash cover. It's about 2"x4" in size, and is optically clear (not distorted) from edge to edge. (Much better than the cheap ones at WalMart, etc.) $12, not in their website, but my guess in stock at their stores. I have two of these and install them in vehicles when I feel insecure.
Also, they have two new options, one is a peel and stick ($7.50) and a Rearview mirror add-on ($30). If these are the same quality as their original mirrors, I will consider the rearview and whether its worth covering up the autodim feature (maybe the main mirror is removable)... Here's a link. The peel and stick is on the right edge.

If you have non-dimming on both sides, use the right hand mirror from the left-hand-drive and the left hand mirror from the right hand drive part numbers

Richard:
I sent this by pm but thought others might like instructions in case they ordered the Euro blind spot mirrors:
I received my Euro blind spot mirrors today - thank you for the part numbers (US C230K w/ auto dimming driver's side and nondimming on passenger)- and I was wondering if you have any specific instructions on how to install them --
Any assistance is appreciated.
Thank you
Jerry

Hi
If you push the bottom edge of the mirror glass in, so the top comes forward, you can see the metal clip that holds the mirror glass onto a plastic tab on the main mechanism by looking into the gap between the mirror glass and the body.
If you put a small hook like thing or a flat screwdriver in, you can pull up the metal clip upward and the mirror glass will drop forward and can be removed.
When you put the new glass in, look at the mirror glass carefully, and its possible to fix the clip "upward" over a little tab on the plastic bit of the mirror glass. (mine came with the metal clip in the right position for this) - This allows you to clip the new mirror glass in at the bottom first, then just move the metal clip slightly with a flat screwdriver and the clip will pop over that little tab into its "locked" position.
Its a lot more obvious if you are looking at a mirror glass
Cheers

Blind Spot Mirrors
I have circular blind spot mirrors that I affix to both outside mirrors. They pop off every few months, and I replace them with new ones ( only a couple of dollars each ). They work. They popped off when the car was sitting parked in the sun.
I think that if you affix the blind spot mirrors during cold temperatures, they are likely to pop off when it warms up.
I just affixed 2 new ones in hot temperature, so we'll see if they stay on.
