Speedo/rpm display cracking
The outer edge of my speedometer has had small cracks for years. Light would bleed through at night. Now the rpm has the same and it appears to be extending towards the center. The plastic frame around the digital display has small white circular pock marks filling in around the edges.
Anybody else and/or knows of a fix?
2002 230 coupe. 70,000 miles. Always garaged.

Wow that looks seriously awful. This is definitely a new one. Anyone else on the forum ever come across a cracked cluster face like this?

A used cluster is definitely the way to go. Just call the dealer and confirm that the odometer will transfer over.

Yeah, not happy at all with the quality of materials used. Mechanicals have been bulletproof, but the ancillary stuff is Kia quality at best. Probably why I skipped MB and bought an STI last year
