C240 radiator fan connected to a/c system?

Good day ! Is the radiator fan connected to the a/c system ? Because my a/c compressor is due for replacement, is it the cause that the radiator fan not kicking in ?

I don't suspect a bad radiator fan or fan module because i pulled off the socket in the coolant temperature sensor and the fan turns on high speed but when i plug it back the radiator cooling fan stops

It's connected to the AC yes, but a bad compressor will not prevent it from working. Unplugging coolant sensor shows all is fine. Probably your engine is just not hot enough yet.

Then the fan should only just be turning very slowly. Scan it to check faults .

As long as when you stationary at idle if the car temp reaches 95 or so and settles there then there is no issue. If it continues to rise to 110 115 then you have a problem.
