Air Conditioning
Anyone have a problem with their air conditioning? Tried to use it on my new C23oK for the first time today in New York. No cold air coming out. And it is not set to zero and the EC is off.

Does you engine fan run all the time. If so you have a bad sensor in the car. If this is it, let me know and I will provide more info.

my question about air conditioning is:
if I leave it at Auto (red light on, "EC" mode off), it will auto adjust where the air coming out from (top, dash or footwell). if I manually adjust the vent position but still leave the "EC" off, although the "auto" light is off. there will still be cold air, right?

If you leave it on auto all the time, all you need to do is set the temperature you want it to be (MB recommends 72 degrees all year). The auto controls the air "volume" also; all you need to do is make sure the air control knob (on the far left side) is set to anything but "0". You set the vents you want the air to come out of.

I think that EC mode is on when the red light is on. So switch it so the red light is off, and it should have a/c. That is the way mine is at least.

I have (so far) only one compaint about the system. During cold mornings and with the system on Auto, the unit will still push out cold air. The volume is lower than when the heat is finally being delivered but I would think it would push no air until it generates heat.
Is this the way it is supposed to work?
