Just received '05 C240's!!!
I went to check them out for the first time today and really like the new instrument cluster. Now, the new standard radio set up is another story 
. I am not a fan of the changes in this area, even if you do get a single CD player with it over the old one. I believe they could have done a better job on the look, but I guess there is nothing we can do about it now!! BTW, the new standard wheel on this car is not even close to being attractive. I was not happy with the '04 wheel, but that design is way better than the '05! I hate to say this, but the new one is UGLY!!!

hey marcus can you send me pictures of that white clk with blue interior and maybe a few pics of the revised c Class, i will be more then happy to post them on the board...i wanna see the white clk in particular as ive never seen the color combo before. thanks

I drove a couple of '05 C-classes today
at Virginia International Raceway, including the 230 Sport Sedan and 230 Sport Coupe. The new tail lights look awesome on the black Coupe they had there. I think the new dash board look is consistent with the E and new SLK. I really like the new instrument cluster much better. I found it strange that the cup holder in the center console does not have a sliding door. It looks a little cheap.
All in all, I would say that it is a good improvement over the current models.

Yeah, the cup holder is somewhat unusual. It does not have a cover and when you push the open button, you have to manually turn it towards the passenger seat to reveal the 2nd holder. This is weird, given MB's typically over engineered holders in the past.

I did not notice that the cars we have, in fact have the LED brake lights. I will check tomorrow and post the real scoop on the lights.

Sat in an 05 C240 yesterday and was very disappointed that the shaded upper band on the windshield was missing. Here in Arizona we need that band. I guess we can go to a parts store and a tinted the plastic strip to put on but it sure will look cheap on an MB.

None of the 2005 C class Tails from Steve were LED..all 25 sets were bulb type ...Euro and Usa

Yes, I will confirm that the '05 C240's that we have in stock do not have LED brake lights! I will be e-mail pics to those people who requested a little later this evening. I would do it now, but a little thing called the LAKER GAME is about to start!!!

Thanks for posting the pics and what do you think about the Pacific Blue leather on the CLK? Not too bad after you look at it for a while!!
