What Do you THInk?
By starting of i just wanna say im new to this, but i would like to ask you guys a question. How do you feel about chrysler making Mercedes benz cars? isnt is true that mercedes is made by chrysler? Does that mean the car would not be reliable. Give me your thoughts on this matter.

Chrysler does not own Mercedes-Benz. DaimlerChrysler owns Mercedes-Benz. DaimlerChrysler AG is still a German based company. They changed the name from DaimlerBenz to DaimlerChrysler after the merger/buy out because they didn't want people to think they are taking over one of the biggest American automotive company in the world. It was part of the deal to change the name so that Chrysler sold themselves to DaimlerBenz. DaimlerChrysler owns a lot of other crap too.

Make no mistake about this, there was no merger between MB and Chrysler. That was just to protect stock prices. MB bought and took control of Chrysler. Chrysler does not make MB automobiles.

The C-class sedans are built in Germany, Brazil and South Africa (the latter is only for the right-hand drive versions sold in the UK, Austraila and Japan). The C-class coupes are only built in Germany (last time I checked).

MB OWNS Chrysler. NO MERCEDES IS MADE BY Chrysler. One Chrysler(the Crossfire) is 70%SLK/C-Class, but is assembled by Karman. A few other Chryslers(300C and Pacifica) have some MB content. There is no chrysler content in any MB.
The C240 is built in Brazil and South Africa.
The C-Class Sport Coupe built only in germany. The C230K Sedan is built in the same factory.
Im not sure where the C320 sedan is built- probably Germany.
