There are only three possible routes for the air to escape
The tire carcass, the bead or the valve core. This assumes that someone isn't sneaking up and letting some out when you're not watching.
All tires will lose air-it may be that your leaker is just a bit more porous than average...having to add air "every couple of weeks" is not too uncommon.
Oops....
...forgot one more way to lose air...if the wheel is porous or cracked you'll lose air as well.If you really want to track it down,go to a tire shop and have them dunk the mounted tire in the water tank to find the leak.
-Years ago I had a Dymag that would always slowly lose air.The water tank revealed a hairline crack,so the wheel became a doorstop.

scenario's for loosing air:
1) slow leak from a nail or tiny puncture
2) valve stem leaking slowly
3) someone really hates you and is letting our your air every few days :p
I think its either 1 or 2, those are the most common for losing air in tires

Get a bottle of soapy water and spray the whole tire after you inflate it a few pounds over normal suggested pressure, about 40 psi is fine. Look for bubbles, there is the leak. Spray the bead around the rim as well as the valve stem and the valve stem.

Hmmm i guess this is a coincidence but every couple of weeks I lose air in my right rear tire too ....I've had a nail taken out of there once (they showed it to me) but something keeps causing that tire to deflate.

Submerge the tire in water and look for the bubbles, that's what the tire shops do. I've had pretty large nails that where not very visible from the surface and deflated the tire over a course of several days.

Finally got it checked by Village Tire in San Gabriel (Valley & Walnut Grove). There is a small rivet stuck on the tire. No wonder I have been loosing air since day one.
They removed the tire and patched it. $15....ouch
It's been almost a week. I think it's OK now.

The guy was telling his co-worker that look we have a Mercedes here. It was not in a friendly way. That kind of make me feel weird.
Everything is fine now. I just never like people expecting you to pay more when you have a Mercedes. But that is the way of life when you drive a Mercedes.
(But mine is C not the S)
