Iceman's C230

Hi guy's.. I was talking to my sales rep. today and he told me that they ordered AMG C230 from Europe for a client with 349 HP.. He said the price was around $60,000 canadian. I didn't know you could order the AMG version of this car. And you guy's give me more info..

AMG will do a C32 Coupe as a custom build; I'd imagine the price would be higher though for a 3.2 liter motor (60000 Canadian pesos = $38000 US). Perhaps your sales rep was confused and they simply ordered the AMG Evo version (body kit and staggered wheels), this would seem to be a fair price (assuming leather, roof, etc.)

If the AMG C32 SPORT COUPE is at $38000...you will see them all over the place!!

I bought mine for around $3500 out the door...with the below mention options....

I estimate the price for a C32 will be around $45000? or $50000 ?? any comments?

I'd guess $45000, since $5000 is about the difference between the C240 and C230K (if that's how MB is figuring the difference). However, it wouldn't surprise me if it were more since it's considered an "AMG special."

Your salesperson is mistaken. Special builds cost considerably
more than that.

The C32 AMG sedan is 65,900 CDN, so 60K CDN for the coupe makes sense (see www.mercedes-benz.ca) - can't see it costing more than the sedan (unless the special order adds to the cost).

Canadian prices seem to be lower than the US prices after doing the conversion. The base price of the coupe is 33,950 CDN or a little over 21K USD. I got my C230 with pana roof, leather, and heated sets for 38.3K CDN which would be about 23.7K US using the .62 conversion rate. Canadians have to cough up an extra $650 for shipping that is buried in the US price, however.

I think part of the price difference is that the "free maintenance" is also factored into the US cost.
