You are right - you'd probably loose your shorts and maybe more.
Good luck if you try it though.

Go for it if you've got money to burn.

A year from now you'll probably want to trade in your 05 for an 06.

Add shirt, shoes and undergarments!

Just for yucks, I looked at how much upside down I would be trading in my 19,000 mile 2002 C320 wagon (leased) and it was over $6000.

The first few years are tough to trade out of.

keep your 04 dude. The updates dont warrant a trade imo, they are cool but the novelty will wear off real quick. If you want to trade jump to something else. I almost traded my 02 IS for an 03. But i ended up just dumping it.

The 04 rocks, and it has the free service.
You could spend a little on the AMG bodykit.

All I know is I am going to have fun killing those 05 C32 posercars.

In my recent experience its almost impossible to sell a recent year C Class. Hold on to it - you'll be shocked at the depreciation.

2003 Citron Green C230KMT
im probably the only one who cares but i wouldnt buy an 05 since they dumped citron. i love my color way to much and am modding all the other updates that i like and am able to. the dash and center console are cool but wouldnt warrant a trade for me to loose money and not get the color i want.

i agree with revstriker, at this rate youll want to trade again and again. the 04's are nice and the updates are cool from the 03. not as dramatic as 04 -05 but still hold onto to the 04 IMHO.

ya nuts?!?!!?

i like my 04.5 sport interior much more than the new one... don't like the new center console and dash layout.... the only thing i like on the 05 sport is the AMG front bumper... surely, someone can retrofit that easily if i had money to burn...

I just looked at the trade-in value of my Dodge, and it makes me want to hang myself. Damn American cars and their depreciation rates. Looks like I'll be keeping it for a long time.

Lightbulb 04 for 05

I'm excited about the 05 updates as well.

They've upgraded most everything that's been criticized by the Automotive press.

I'm most impressed with the instrument cluster, although I've gotten used to the small tach (mine's a six speed). I'd like to experience the new tranny and the standard audio system in the 04 is average at best. Any way to upgarde for the new radio??

Sure, I'd trade my 04 for the 05 but know it wouldn't be worth it.

I think the main motivation for MB to go with the facelift was to stay competitive with the new 3 series coming out.

Maybe I can use the same rope for my C320 wagon! LOL.
