2005 C240 4MATIC, is an alignment possible on a 4matic?
Just replaced the large "wishbone" control arm which consists of 2 large bushing connections on one side and a ball joint on the other. The issue I have now that I resolved my clunking-bong noise by replacing the 4matic control arm... the steering wheel is off and the alignment seems to be bit off... anything I can do to re-align? I've been told you cant do a legitimate alignment on a 4matic... thx guys!

I just did the right side along with the tie-rod end, drop link and CV half shaft, the alignment was off so I just adjust the tie rod end (13mm & 21mm open end wrench needed) until it was close. I true alignment will be needed. What people are talking about is there is no precise camber adjustment available, just a set of new bolts that allow +/-3.4 degrees of camber depending on how you bolt the arm to the carrier (the adjustment bolts are slotted and the carrier has pins that these slots slide into.) - NP

We were getting a strange noise coming from the drivers side when entering our driveway. The 4matic has different front end suspension parts so take caution when ordering, good luck!
