2004 C230K, 2005 C230K or 2004 BMW 325i
OR a 2005 C230K for $349/mo and NO maintenance?
OR a 2004 BMW 325i for $299/mo and free maintenance?
Thanks for your input.
I'm attending C-Spot tomorrow.

Well here is a quote from my cousin who has the 3 series sedan. "BMW's great for the drivers but sucks for the passenger", Also one more thing, BMW is chaning the body style for the 3 series next year, so do you want to drive a car from an old model year. MB is not going to change the body style for atleast another 3 years from now.
If it's just you in the car most of the time, perhpas the BMW is a better choice. If you cart anyone else around, MB is the winner.
Before my current C240 4Matic, I owned a 2001 325xi (auto) and a (2002) 325xi manual. With the move to Mercedes, I got the extra dose of luxury I was craving, but lost a bit of horsepower in the end (the C240 has this annoying lengthy lag between the time you floor the gas on standstill until you get the power).
I love both brands but my next car probably will be another C class when the new generation comes out, probably in 2006(?). While the current 3 series has aged well, the MB still looks quite modern in my opinion).
To me, the decision is simple: The new generation 3 series will go into production as early as of March of 2005. If you buy the 325i now, you'll be stuck with an "old" body style for quite some time, unless you're fortunate enough to get out of the lease without much loss.
Stick with the MB.
