Question on SAM Replacment
so my 2003 is just losing things right and left it seems (170k)
the front sam that controls all the right side lights may have just gone out
so a question
can the SAM be replaced from a used car without needing to be programmed? I’ve read success stories but in some of the write up they suggest getting it “coded” to the cars vin
Question I have is can i replace the Sam from a used car without needing to pay for the coding at the dealership?
what downside is there if the vin isn’t he Sam doesn’t match?
this old of a car I am looking to just keep my repair costs down.
