Immediate help please!!!

W203 will not start!!
I have a 2007 w203 4matic. Bought it cheap I have had to repair the infamous intake manifold repair.
I did that last night replaces parts with aluminum upgrade.
But I'm still having same problem I'm have alot off false starts. It will turn over trying to start but just will not do it. I have to open driver window close door reach in turn the key and run to engine and shake the control module thats in the middle of the engine cover to make it start. The control module was replaced before I got it. Its newer than the car itself.
I have checked my ME 9.7 coding and variant and it says all but 1 is correct. Can anybody tell me how to fix this what coding goes for my w203.
my vin # is WDBRF92H17F912588
When I pull frpm list to select the unknown variant coding it's a list that says HM0375 and goes up to HM0562.
Main questions if I fix this variant code will it fix my false start issue,
and if not what am I missing to make this car work right. I did notice the ME 9.7 That is on the car is newer than the car itself so someone has changed that but one variant code is unknown.

If all else fails, unfortunately you're looking at the dealer. They will know what firmware goes into the modules, and can upgrade you to the latest versions.
