So let me get this correct, we can down load the EPCs from eMule, but need to buy the WIS CDs or DVDs form europe?
It seems the WIS is what we really want, or at least what I want. I want to add voice recognition, add a sedan Bose Amp on my Coupe, add a PSE for phone use, and add CLK seats with multifunction and electrical operation to my Coupe that has manual seats.
It appears that if you want the latest WIS DVD, you have to pay big time. The June 2004 DVD is 379 Euros!!!
The 9/2003 DVD is only 25 Euros now
The 11/2002 MB WIS on 5 CDs is 125 Euros.
Anyone want to go in with me?

All the WIS can say is to dismantle and assemble.
I also doubt you will get the benefit of new information on old DVD's. There are too many things you need to know in order to achieve good results to just go with the bare minimum.
I think anyone spending $5000 is well informed if they spend $500 getting the fundamentals in place.

here is the deal .
1/ Cable
2/ Software
3/ signal control box = multiplexer.
PC - SERIAL CABLE - MUX - OBD CABLE - CAR
If it was that easy you wouldnt see dealers paying $3000 for a Taiwanese clone called Win-Star from ICM.
furthermore, the software may or may not activate. I dont believe it does myself having tried it a few times.

I am on mule now, all I can see is MB EPC disks (7 pieces), BW WIS 2003 ISo disks 1-5, WIS-CD1,2,4,5 NRG files, and stardiagnose.MB.WIS..EPC.rar (is that the 2004 one?) It's only 1.13GB.
So - in other words, where is this mystery animal known as 2004 DVD?
Please let us know - the more people download, the sooner it will get reseeded.
Also, please do share some insights on the mux and cable... can the mux be done without? In theory, a mux combines to sets of data, but if we only need to plug into one at a time, do we need that? or will a simple OBDII to car cable suffice?

If I was local I would gladly do it. What I think could happen is that you setup a system where you take turns buying it and lending it to others.
I use mine every day - it helps me to answer a lot of questions.

Well, I did fully complete the download of preisliste-EPC_WIS_2004_MB which ended up being an access program that has the price list as of 1.4.2004 in Euros.
Well, now I can see if my dealer is screwing me.

i asked steve already and he cannot get them. Someone installed them on his laptop. He has WIS, EPC, and Price List on his. I have a 6/2003 EPC COmpact w203 Original if anyone is interested, PM ME.
