Missing my beloved Benz
Looking for w203 service manual
I've been looking for a w203 service repair manual. I searched online for some time now but have not came up with anything. I want to change my own oil, replace my brake pads, etc... things I can do at home, but just seem to not understand the mercedes way of doing things. Can anyone direct me to the location(s) where one might purchase one? I saw on E-bay that a student was selling an E-class edition of a workshop set they acquired in the mercedes benz school. I emailed them and asked if they had a friend who had a w203 edition, but no response. So anyWHO... Can anyone help me?

The service manual is available on-line by subscription at www.startekinfo.com
There have been E-Bay ads for CD-ROM manuals. My guess is that this is information from the on-line site saved as pdf documents.

Missing my beloved Benz
me again
Interesting site... but I wouldn't like to pay over a grand a year for that site's access. I would rather want, something, like a book. So anyone have an idea where one would purchase this item?

Let me be explicit: Mercedes does not publish hard-copy manuals for cars that are still in production. The only sources are CD-based, as noted above, and the more recent the car, the less likely you'll see a complete collection. A temporary subscription, with a download of the info you're most likely to use the most, makes the most sense...or go with one of the E-Bay offerings. But don't look for significant help from MBUSA - they want you to take the car to a dealer, not do it yourself.

let me help you out the startek website contains no useful info for the repair, or mait of your car. I just bought a 24 hr subscription lasr week, no worth the 18 bucks. changing brake pads amd any other general mait is the same on your mb as it is on any other car.
