the button to turn the sensor off is the same as the anti tow button we have in the dash already. We don't need to buy anything else.

Steve there are 2 harnesses. One that goes from the center row of switces to the distronic switch. THis carries the CANbus B signals and the night illumination of the switches. The main harness is a 209 part number that does the rest of the wiring. I got the 209 part number and it a good harness for 203 as well.

just checked WIS and both TOw sensor and Interior Motion sensor can be used together. The IMS also monitors glass breakage.

I also noticed the IMS can be switched off with the same button that switches off tow sensor on the dash.

Sunman,

Do you have any updates on the interior motion sensor?

By the way, your mods are cool. I wish I had the time & patience to do some of the stuff you've done.

I will check part numbers today but the I think the part number for the coupe is different. It'a rectangular sensor and not square like mine. I tested it today and it works great. I think the lights are flashing much much faster ever since I changed the country code to Mexico. Not sure how it was before.

thanks sunman. what do you mean the lights are flashing faster. do you mean when the alarm is activated and they flash on/off?

yeah that's what I mean. When the alarm is activated, the lights flash really fast. Not sure if that is how all cars are or becuase of the "MEXICO" setting

my lights dont flash really fast when the alarm is activated. normal flashing from what i remember. it may be the IMS rather than the Mexico setting. or a combination of both.

No the IMS has nothing to do with the light flashing. It is indeed the MEXICO setting. I checked IMS for coupes. There are 2 different models. One for pano roof and one for regular cars like I have in mine. The pano one is rectangular like I suspected earlier. It WILL fit your car also.

that's all you do. Just make sure you get that setting changed though or it will NOT work.

I don't think its standard in some of the 05's, I just checked, and I don't have it in mine. But, the mod seems cool, keep us posted!

Talking Adding Blow-tronik

Blow-tronik = Set DAS Blow-tronik = Present and sensor already in the car!! to = Active!!!

When someone as much as looks at your car... it blows up!
(after much though and testing, MB set this feature INACTIVE on ALL country codes... )
