when do you think Mercedes will come out with a c350?

Nobody really knows. BMW used to introduce new engines in the last years of the product cycle to help boost sales, then carry them over to the next generation. However, they didn't for the 5 series, and the verdict is split on the new 3.
Don't know enough about MB to know what they typically do, but they have introduced a bigger engine in the ML before the new generation, so there is hope for this generation's C, particularly since the new C55 AMG has put enough distance between it and the C320 so as to lessen the risk of cannibaliztion of AMG sales by a C350. There certainly will be pressure to do so, given the power that is out there in entry level sport/luxury sedans offered by some of the competition.
I've got a lease until 2007 before my lease ends anyway, so it doesn't matter much to me.

my lease ends in '06....i'm hoping that maybe the '07 models will be out by then, ya know, they're usually available in the year before their actual model year. and it should definitely include the new 3.5 liter engine. and probably the new 7-speed auto tranny?

will be released around mai 05 in europe.. shouldnt take too long till it's going to be available in the US. But as far as I know, it won't the be the SLK's 350 engine. It's going to be the 3.7 engine put in the W163 and the W211 in December 04. It has 242 hp. Not too shabby, but still no 272 hp

Okay, I checked one more time. It WILL be the SLK's 350 engine, sorry for any confusion, I got something wrong. Euro release is June 05. US release will be most likely around august 05.
