The H&R springs are used...i want to get i guess #2 pads in the back and cut the H&R 1 coil in the front. Would i have to roll my fenders?>

How much do you think rolling the fenders would run along with installing and having the front spring cut a coil????
#1 is the smallest, #4 is the biggest. 4 pads available. What's the confusion?

I'm puzzeled I just ordered a pair of 9mm spring pads and the parts department asked me why I was ordering another pair of pads. I told him I needed to raise my rear suspension up 1/4 inch and to do so I was going to put the 9mm pads on the bottom of the springs. He said that he does not believe you can do this. I understand you did, however do you need to modify the pad in any way?
Has anyone else here put pads on the bottom of the rear springs?
respectfully

Wow, almost 3 years since the last post

Anyone know the thickness of the spring pads on an '02 230 Coupe? I was under the car looking for the bumps on the edge of the pads today, but couldn't see anything

You're going to have to pull the pad out to see the bumps.

Anyone know the actual amount the bodywork will change if the pad is changed for a 4mm difference? Due to the geometry it should change by more than 4mm. Just eye ballin' the geometry, it looks like it might be around double.
